Featuring Reps. Nikki Rivera and Izzy Smith Wade-El, this event will rally against cuts to Medicaid. The proposed $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid would blow a hole in PA’s state budget. Cuts to Medicaid impact everyone who: has a kid in public school, has a parent in a nursing home, lives in a retirement community, wants strong hospitals to serve the community, has a family member with a disability, might one day lose a job or fall on hard times, might face an unexpected loss of coverage, might outlive their retirement savings and need nursing care. Medicaid is important to EVERYONE. Fight for it!
Over 1,000 people showed up in downtown Lancaster to say Hands Off our democracy, our rights, our jobs, and our people. Our local protest was organized late this week by Lancaster Stands Up and the people of Lancaster showed up! All around the country people were out in the streets today. We will NOT be silent!
